atleast, i know i do. my 2 favorite forums (used to be 3 or 4 way back when) are set up in this format; Twinturbo.net, Z31.com , and previous pages Z32.org/board and Ricboypage.com forum (lol... so long ago). while it is neat that active threads get bumpped to the beginning, i could not follow a thread all the way thru to save my life. how you determine who's replying to who (without direct quotes) is beyond me. its like "i'll say this, and then 200 people will say something one right after the other in no order other than chronological." personally, i think this design of threads is much better and much more logical. its not difficult to click the "Next" button. Theres one at the top and bottom of the page. just click back and see all the threads, and read a short reply to each thread in the subject line of the replies. Twinturbo.net > other forums. also, the fact that threads are locked after a certain amount of time renders the "hot topic" threads worthless in only a matter of time.
